It is an old story. Computer on, lighting strike, computer won't power up.....
Where is the fuse on a power supply ?? Or is there a circuit breaker ?

HP Pavilion XL773

Checked HP site and Google; No luck.

The fuse is inside the power supply on the circuit board - have replaced them myself.

The expectation is you use a power surge protection device and/or a UPS.
This especially useful for areas with lightening, or other power
reliability problems. They aren't expensive.
