Error Mesage

I got a message that my fan was not working. I shut down the computer and
tried to restart after ten minutes. Nothing. The fans will not turn on. The
computer is dead. I checked the power supply for a fuse. It does not have a
fuse. I don't have the equipment to check for voltage going into the power
supply. I appreciate any help I can get in this matter. I also changed the
A.C power cord. No go. Thank you Connie Lee

Since this is a hardware issue, not an XP OS issue, you should post to a
hardware newsgroup.

This has nothing to do with Windows and probably cannot be sorted in a
newsgroup anyway. You can try swapping out the power supply for a
known-working one (not the power cord) but you may have fried your
processor and/or motherboard. There will be no way for anyone not
physically looking at the machine to know.

If you don't have the equipment and/or skills to do the hardware
troubleshooting, take the machine to a professional computer repair
shop. This will not be your local version of BigStoreUSA.
