Power saver

I dont know what I did but my PC does not go to sleep after a 1/2 hour as it
use to.
I went to Control Panel>display>change computers theme>screensaver>Power
saver and adjusted the stanby and hibernate times. I also indicated "never"
shut off PC and Disc. After these changes my PC does not respond. Neihter
does my screensaver. The Screens saver does not activate after time inputed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks Much !!!!Ray

After you changed your settings, did you click Apply first before clicking OK?
This is to set and SAVE settings.

Thanks Byte..I did that. I also clicked on the little drop down just above
the settings line and made up another setting. Strange, that my regular
screensaver does not work either. I can set it for one minute and it works
but it does not activate if I porgram it for 10 minutes or more. I probably
should do a aonther back date to a previous day. I may have done something
to the program. But I am on a major learning curve here. But thanks again.
