This Compaq Presario R3000T Notebook PC has power port problems. Two diff
power cables will not stay connected in the back of the notebook to the
power port?

Change the power port? Is the port made onto the Motherboard? This is the
1st one with a problem. There must be tech docs on the web with step by
step changing the power port?

The power port is part of the motherboard. Contact Compaq tech support
for replacement.
