Power Point text boxes

Some design templates have text boxes for main text that resize the font
automatically e.g. as you approach the bottom of the slide, the text will get
smaller to fit. How can I set this feature in custom templates or add it in
templates that do not have it.

You don't mention what version you use (always a good start!)

In 2007 you can set this for individual text boxes by right click > format
shape > text box > shrink text on overflow.

In all earlier versions you can only set this on a presentation wide basis.
