My Windows is Microsoft 2000 Professional, NT technology. Can I move my Power
Point slide show to Movie Maker and burn a DVD? I'm a novice, will Movie
Maker work on my computer?

You would be better serviced if you downloaded (free) and used PowerPoint
Producer (if you are using PPT 2002 (XP) or 2003 from here
http://www.microsoft.com/office/powerpoint/producer/prodinfo/default.mspx

Movie Maker is not included with and I don't believe it will work with
Windows 2000 with any service pack.
There are many commercial software products that will work on 2000 such as
Roxio's www.roxio.com Video Wave (included with their newest product Easy
Media Creator 8), Ulead's product
http://www.ulead.com/products/runme.htm#video and many others.
