Power Point Movie Presentation

We use Power Point for our song presentations on Sunday and when we try to
insert a movie file, the words of the songs disappear when it's activated.
What do we need to do?

What's probably happening is the movie is captioned or subtitled and movies
inserted into PowerPoint will not play captions/subtitles.

You can insert a link to the movie instead and see if that works.

Or perhaps the movie is played over the top of powerpoint text?

Do you mean words on the slide? If so, PowerPoint always plays the video on
top of everything else and there is no changing it.

You're probably right. I've been working so much with captioning my brain
leans that way automatically.

What Taj said is probably your problem. Movies will always play on top of
everything else in PowerPoint. Move your text so it's not covered by the
movie.

So how do I get the powerpoint text to stay on top of the movie file? Thanks
for any help you can give us! I'm trying to insert a video loop as the
background on the Master slide but the words of our songs keep disappearing.
