My group created a Power Point Presentation which runs error-free on machines
within the office area. We produced 700 copies of the DVD and discovered
afterwards (naturally) that we have copies with bad chapters within our
presentation. The master still reads good on all machines within the group.
We have placed copies of the bad chapters on our website so that people
viewing these chapters and experiencing trouble reading the chapters can view
them. We are in the process of troubleshooting what happened. When we go back
to the duplicator (there are 3 seperate machines duplicating 9 DVD's at a
time), there can be inconsistent bad chapters. It is not always the same one.
When a chapter is bad, it takes the image files within the chapter and
corrupts them. We are at a loss as to what the problem could be.
