Power Point 2007 - Grid line bug

F

firevally

The snap objects to grid option is not working correctly.
It's a bug of power point 2007.
When setup the screen spacing to 0.83 (1/8inch), object is moved/drawn
correctly.
But, if use other spacing such as 0.1(1/10inch), object is not
moved/drawn.
the derivation between grid point and actual drawing point is
increased when move far from 0/0 (center coordination).

Test :

Setup grid to 0.1 inch. and draw 3x3 inch square.
You will get 3.02x3.02 inch square

Do you have any idea about this bug?

Hi,

I use centimeters. Anyway, I tried this and I get a different sort of
problem. If I set a grid of about 0.25 cm, the grid is set but it doesn't
display it at below 1.25 cm. I wonder if this is what is happening to you.
Can you see the size of the grid actually change on your display when you
change it?

1/8" = .125, not .83 (minor point, let's ignore it)

I'm seeing the same thing here. Will pass this along.
