Power Point 2003, combining sound and picture

I am having trouble combining sound and picture files. When I insert a sound
file with the multiple picture slide show they don't work together. Either
the pictures fade in and out and the sound file dosn't work or the sound file
works and only one picture appears or dosn't appear at all.

The best way to get the effects you are looking for is to set the animations
for the pictures to happen "With Previous" and then adjust the timing using
either the advanced timeline or the delay feature on the timing tab. If you
need a sample of what I mean, email me off list (unknot my email to get me)
and I will send you a quick sample. Someday I may even get around to posting
it on the site
