Power Point 2003 Bullets and numbers are cut off

I am putting a basic outline together with Powerpoint 2003, and the bullets
and numbers are sometimes only drawing partially, or are cut off. I can
change them back and forth from bullets to numbers or change the styles but
they are getting cut off. They appear fine in the working space, but when I
run an animation or run the slide show they are cut off. Can anyone tell me
why this is happening? This is a simple text box with animation, no other
text boxes are there to cover the bullets. Please help.

Hello,

You might want to check to make sure that the first character in each
bulleted paragraph (after the bullet of course) is not a "SPACE" character.

Derek:
I have had this problem since I installed Office 2003. I contacted MS via
"E" about the problem. They "danced" around with me for about a week but
could not (or would not) admit that there is a problem. I eventually took all
of the 2003 PowerPoints that I have written for my Geography class (about
3,000 slides) and manually placed 1, 2, A, B, I, etc. into the slides.
