Power Options

I am finding that the power scheme I have selected under
Power Options only works sometimes (windows xp pro), and
is not reliable. Is there any way to make it more
reliable so that my computer will definitely shut down
after the selected period?

Hi there,

I had a similar problem in that my power schemes wouldn't
save and I only had Home/Office and Presentation show up
under the power options menu.

I found a great fix for this at a Gateway site.
