power options

Hi there,
I disabled all power options(set to never in Control Panel, Power Options
and also hibernation) under user profile and XP Pro computer still goes in
standby mode(press power to wake up). Any suggestions?

Using the power button is not Standby. It's Hibernation since Standby just
requires moving the mouse or using the keyboard. Check your Power Scheme tab
in Power Options and set it to Always On. What model computer? If it's a
laptop, you might have other overrides that control this, like Presentation
Mode. Look up Power Options in Help for more.
