Power Options Problem

I am running a fully updated XP Pro and have had an ongoing problem. When I
change the power options in my administrator account, the options do not
update in the limited account. When I try to change power options in the
limited account I am told that access is denied. Any ideas about how to
remedy this? I have tried to change the options by accessing the limited
account settings thru the administrator account but have had no success.

Temporarily change the limited account to give it admin privileges, change
your power options, then change the account back to limited.

Thanks JS. I wonder why I could not think to try that :) Possibly because
most of my life was spent before Windows. Your workaround proves that there
are many ways try to fix something and, more often than not, two heads abe
better than one.

I'm glad it worked.
