For some reason my winxp pro will not turn off my monitor
anymore if a screen saver (any screen saver)is running.
If I turn the sceeen saver off it will turn it off, but
only if there is no screen saver running, or that the
timer for power managment is smaller then the timer for
the screen saver. I have winxp pro installed on another
drive, and that os works fine in this regards. Although
when the monitor came out of stand by, I do lose the log
on sound? My video adaptor is a ATI 9700 pro 128mb ddr.
motherboard is a Abit NF7-S. AMD Athlon XP 3000+ Barton.
I have tried everything to fix this problem, with no
sucsess. If anyone knows how to fix this or where I can
get some answers, please reply!
