Power failure during MS Windows XP Professional

Hi; While installing (HD Formating section) Windows XP
Professional I had a power failure. When I restarted the
computer I got the following message: Error loading
operating system. This was a new computer install. OS was
not fully installed. I can not move on from this error
message. Any suggestions?

Since it was while formatting, start all over since you have nothing
to lose.
 
Hi,

Always use a backup power supply to prevent damage to your computer. Do not attempt to use the direct power supply since surcharge of power can damage your mother board completly.
