power cut

Had pc (windows xp home) loaded when a power cut hit. Now
the pc is not accepting instuctions. almost as is if in
safe mode, how do i sort??
 
Go to safe mode and try to revert back to a restore point with the system
restore feature of XP, if you can't even get safe mode to work then there
are either more serious problems with Windows or you might have a hardware
failure...
