The MS Word Web interface is sometimes a bit slow and
bumpy. Those that are able to access this site using an OE
or other Newsgroup connection see posts and responses
almost right away. MS recently took some rather untimely
action (like way, way too late) to modify this site to
help prevent spam attacks both to themselves, and those
using this site.
The Microsoft CDO web-based product is poor. If you switch to a real
newsreader, e.g. Outlook Express, and use a real news server, e.g.
msnews.microsoft.com or one offered by your ISP, you'll see your posts
in seconds/minutes when using the msnews.microsoft.com server. You'll
also get a much richer view of the hierarchy of the postings. Different
newsreaders have different features, but using OE rather than your
