Hi

I am trying to reboot after running SYSPREP.
I get an error indicating that the instruction at 0x5F1A340B is trying to
read memory at 0x00000014 but is failing.
It occurs at the screen prompting for a computer name and administrator
password.

I am using XP-PRO slipstreamed with SP2.

I want to manually enter a computername on reboot, but automate everything
else.

Any suggestions on what the SYSPREP.INF should contain?

As you can probably guess, this is not normal. I can't think of anything
you could put into Sysprep.inf that would cause this. Are you specifying
commands to be executed via CMDLINES.TXT? If so, one of those could be
causing issues.

There have been a few similar errors reported to Microsoft Product Support,
but all were tracked down to corrupt images or Windows source files;
rebuilding the image always fixed the problem. I would recommend contacting
Support as they would be better able to troubleshoot this problem.
