Heres the go;
where im at folks play games lan, up to 40 of us in a giant whupfest 4 or 5 days a week, all the games we have played worked until one now. The game (ETQW) has an issue the "GL_ARB" a set of texture type buffers that can be found on the lowest end of vid cards (the lowest of the low) heres the question

can i fool this system ?
is there some kind of driver or internal buffer that can run it ?
can i get some other thing to make it go on a laptop?

The game (ETQW), never heard of it!
As for 'fooling' a laptop, most laptops are by design not suited to playing games on.
How do you intended to fool it, pretend it's a desktop?

Opps where are my manners - Welcome to the forum.

well its....

first i was going to dress it up and put a go faster stripe on it - thanks for the welcome,

no in the past i have used both on board and the chipset to play games that are not suited the other times i have emulated things and the game - enemy territory, quake wars is only missing the GL_ARB texture set the laptop fits within specs for running.

i doubt you'll find anything, if you were good at coding i guess it would be possible but extremely difficult
