Possible virus infection

I am having trouble with my XP version. I think I picked
up a virus. I am trying to repair the intsall but the
system is asking me for my administrators password. It
is my home computer, where would I find such
information. Help please.
 
Hello Ed,

The admin password is what you setup when you installed Windows XP. If you
did not set one up, it is possible just a blank password. If it does not
take that, then review the following KB -
