Possible to write COM add-ins with VB .NET?

Hi,
Is it possible to write an Excel COM add-in on VB .Net? From what
have read in other threads, it seems best to write COM add-ins in VB
instead.

Well,

..NET = Managed code
COM = Unmanged code

so I won't disagree with the ascertion it's 'best to write COM add-ins
in VB6'.

However, if you want hook Excel events to use managed code, this is
certainly an option. See:
