Possible to get Outlook Appointments to show in Access?

Using WinXP Pro, Access 2003, Outlook 2003, SBS2003. Would it be possible
to have an appointment in Outlook show up in Access automatically?

I'm designing a medical database that keeps track of client visits, next
appointments, etc. I'd like to look at my database and see that someone
needs an appointment. Then I'd like to find an available time in Outlook,
create the appointment in Outlook, and have it automatically appear in
Access. I realize this may take some work, but is it even possible?

Thank you. That's very cool! I will probably subscribe to the Access
magazine so I can read the article you wrote and get more tips. The popup
calendar is really cool. They should just make a tool like that available
for date fields in Access.

The user needs to be in Outlook to see if the time is available. It would
be nice if I could go the other way. I'd like to use Outlook to make the
appointment and just have Access store it for use. I assume from your
message it can be done. Just will be more difficult. I'm pretty sure it
will be quite difficult, because after I figure out how to do it from
Outlook I'm going to have to figure out how to do it when a user is making
appointments on anothers calendar. The user currently views 4 calendars
side by side in Outlook. We have Exchange 2003 in the background. We would
like to be able to make an appointment on any of the 4 calendars and have it
passed to Access and stored. Even if I figure out how to do that I still
need to figure out how to link it to a patient record in Access. :(

Thanks much for your help. The forms you provided are quite nice and I'm
sure I can use them for other projects. If that's ok?
