can someone tell me the possible reasons why I dont have 100 Mbps on lan
with 2 computers?

I use a cross cable.

The speed is only 10Mbps now.



The cable and the cards are 100 Mbps (I think, but how can I be sure?)

Is it a factory-made cable ? If not, get one.

How do you know you are not getting 100mb ?

factory made cable yes, I see I have 10 Mbps from the windows taskmanager
that says link speed 10 Mbps.

However I now saw that one of my cards is an older model. How can I find out
if it can work at 100 Mbps?

Indeed the card is 10 Mbps so thats why... I found the info on the internet.
