portable compression program

does anyone know of a portable compression program i can use on a flash
drive?

Take a look at these two file managers:

A43: http://www.shawneelink.net/~bgmiller/
freeCommander: http://www.freecommander.com/

They both zip/unzip, they unrar, and they also make sfx files.

freeCommander has to be installed in the hard drive first. Then you can
copy its folder anywhere you like and uninstall the program from the
Program Files location. It keeps its settings in an ini file within its
folder.

IZarc compresses as zip or self-extracting archives, and decompresses
a multitude of compression file types. It works perfectly on my USB
flash drive.
