Hi there
I am at the end of my ropes here. Since FP2002 I have been having trouble
updating my website with FP.
When I try to update the website all the information is uploaded as
indicated by the full progress bar, but then it just sits there for about 10
minutes doing nothing, then I get an error message saying "Could not find a
webserver at my website on port 80" . I have been seeing this problem for a
long time now and this causes me to go through the pain of updating my
website about once a month instead of 2 or 3 times a week .
Presently I am running winXP SP2 with FP2003.
Mysite is hosted on a unix server with the FP X
I have tried every thing: I recalculate my links befor posting. I verify my
links befor posting. I turn off my McAfee firewall and windows firewall. I do
not know what else I can do. right now I can only envy website that are able
to do updates minutes by minute and day by day because I cannot, because
whenever I get this error message - which is almost allways - I have to go to
the hosting co.'s website, uninstall the FPX then reinstall the FPX, then
republish my entire site from scratch.
I sure need some help please
