Help. Somehow I got a virus or something that loads 50
popups. They all seem to be coming from ip address
69.28.210.175. Nothing I have tried eliminates them. I
have run adaware numerous times to no avail.

Help. I want this popup nightmare to go away. I have
tried to block them but nothing works.

Hello Pamela,

It would be ad-aware they can cause pop-ups to appear and they blame
it on some spyware program. I would un-install ad-aware.

don't blame it on ad-aware.....
I have ad-aware updated and get no popups....none....
and no spyware....

so much for "ibm" specialist knowledge.....

First eliminate any scumware.
See
Dealing with Unwanted Spyware, Parasites, Toolbars and Search Engines
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.

Using NeoTrace that address comes up
adserv.adscpm.com
Registered to CPM Media Inc One Viktor Litov of
Montgomery Village, MD, USA

Definately not Ad-Aware of lavasoft.de DE implies
Germany.

**You have stealth Spyware that normal methods will not detect**

Download and run "Hijack This" FAQ and info here:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

For expert analysis of your Hijack scan logs, you are required to post
them to a Spyware Forum, please post the URL of the post, once you
have done so.
