Popups from ad.trafficmp.com attack my system

Every couple days I'll go to a website (usually a page on Yahoo) and I
start getting these popup ads from
"http://ad.trafficmp.com/tmpad/banner/itrack.asp?rv=3.0&id=2345&nojs=1"

They never load because I have ad.trafficmp.com as a restricted site,
but my PC is just blasted with these ads to the point where my system
becomes unresponsive! I have a popup killer that tries its best to
kill them but they seem to overwhelm it and it sometimes dies. The
only way I can get these popups to end is to turn off my popup killer
and wait for 50 to 60 of them to be onscreen (as reported by the
taskbar button) because at that point my system seems to run out of
resources and they cannot continue to be made. The final IE window to
popup is only able to draw 1 button in the toolbar. At that point I
can delete all these windows.

Needless to say, this is a very annoying problem and I'd like to know
how to prevent it from happening.

Thanks for any tips

Try going to download.com and use the latest version of
Lavasoft Adaware. It actually tracks down all the
software and files that have found their way to your
computer.
