Popup Window

I recently had to reinstall Windows Vista (and Windows Mail). since then,
whenever I open Windows Mail I get a popup window titled "LOGON to
pop.att.yahoo.com" requesting a User Name and Passord. When I close this
window I get another window: Account: 'pop.att.yahoo.com', Server:
'pop.att.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR [AUTH] invalid
user/password', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error
Number: 0x800CCC92

When I close the windows, everything seems to be working normally, e.g. the
connection to Microsoft newsgroups. (I don't use Windows Mail for my email.
I use Outlook 2007). How can I eliminate the pop up messages when starting
Windows Mail?

If you don't use Windows Mail for email, delete (remove)
the mail account. Or you can simply disable that account:
Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, on the
General tab untick "Include this account..."

Under 'Tools|Accounts' you appear to have an email account defined for
ATT/Yahoo email. Remove this account and you should no longer get that
popup.
