Invalid User/PW

Hello, my ISP is AT&T (formerly SBCGLOBAL). I'm trying to use Windows
Mail...I'm currently a Yahoo Mail user. Do I use the ID in the Windows Mail
Properties panel for my ID when Windows Mail prompts me for it? I've tried
numerous IDs and Windows Mail doesn't like any of them. I got this error
when trying to Send/Receive the billions of emails that've accumulated in my
Windows Mail Inbox since I began messing around w/ Windows Mail.
Here's the error msg that I receive:
Account: 'pop.att.yahoo.com', Server: 'pop.att.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3,
Server Response: '-ERR [AUTH] invalid user/password', Port: 995,
Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92
Thank you.

Ruth,

Did you get the email address you are trying to use from AT&T, or did you register it on Yahoo.com?
I notice that it has the @yahoo.com attatched in your "From" tag. Unfortunately, if you did register
it on Yahoo.com, you are not entitled to POP3 access. Yahoo! requires that you subscribe to their
"Mail Plus" service in order to use POP3, which will run you $19.99 a year
(http://overview.mail.yahoo.com/enhancements/mailplus).

If you're in dier need of an email account, register for a free GMail, as it is sure to come with
POP3 services.

You should be authenticating with your @sbcglobal.net credentials
instead of your @yahoo.com credentials.
Free Yahoo accounts don't have POP access.
