PopCorn for Yahoo

Does anyone know if it's possible to use PopCorn to check for email in
the Yahoo free mail accounts? If so, what do you fill in for the POP3
and SMTP boxes for Server Name/Port?

Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the suggestion. In PopCorn in the U.S. I'm using

pop.mail.yahoo.com
smtp.mail.yahoo.com

with the login name and password specified, but I get the message:

POP server pop.mail.yahoo.com does not support the APOP authorization
mode!

when I try to check for mail.

Any suggestions by chance?

I wonder if pop.mail.yahoo.com and smtp.mail.yahoo.com are the correct
server names?

From the way I understand it the straight .com yahoo email doesn't
support POP but if you use one that has another country prefix added
like .com.au or .com.nz then it works.

Pick a country and sign up for one. I think that all you have to do when
you sign up is give the email address you want with the country prefix
after it. Just b/c I'm in Oz I don't automatically get a .au email
account. My original yahoo account is just .com and I can't get it
through POP stuff so I made a new account and said I wanted the email
address to be miskairal (AT) yahoo.com.au

You still have to go into mail options in the webmail and set it up to
do it. When you first get to your inbox go to the Mail Options link in
uppper right.
Then go to POP access and forwarding and that will bring up the page you
want.

Hope I'm making sense.
