Hi,
I use Outlook 2003 and about 5 different POP3 Accounts are set up.
If I hit the send/receive button all my email accounts send and receive. If
I leave the computer for a few minutes, the next time that Outlook tries to
send/receive by it's self It tends to stall on one of the accounts and then
nothing works again (If I am gone for some time I get a list of 100 attempts
that have all failed) and I get this message:
Task 'My email account- Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC90) : 'Your
incoming (POP3) e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you
continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or
Internet service provider (ISP). The server responded: -ERR Can't open the
message file - it's gone!'
This has only started to happen recently and as far as I know nothing has
been changed on the setup. I never seem to have a problem if I check
manually?
Why might this be happening? It is very frustrating.
Cheers
