Yes. The Google Toolbar has a good pop-up blocker. Plus by using Google
to search these newsgroups you will see that there are many answers
available to previously asked questions. http://toolbar.google.com/index-beta.php
It is not a feature in Internet Explorer however you could download and install
the latest Google search bar and use the popup stopper that is built in. http://toolbar.google.com/
