I get pop up when I turn my computer on or reboot
(1) SmartBridge Alerts:MotiveSB.exe - Entry Point Not Found
(2) Logitech Desktop Messenber is unable to access its data directory. It
is either invalid or unreachable, or there is another program accessing it.
(3) VirtualTruck Reboot Helper Please insert your VirtualTruck CD back
into the CD tray so that installation may continue.
(4) My computer is only 6 months old and I would like to return it to its
original state and would like to also know how to do this.
Thanks
Eunice

1. For the SmartBridge Alert error:

After installing IE7, users may get a SmartBridge Alert error message at
startup. SmartBridge is distributing an old version of PSAPI.DLL. As a
result, users may receive the following error message after
installation of IE7:

SmartBridge Alerts:MotiveSB.exe Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located
in the dynamic link library PSAPI.DLL

To work around this error, navigate to the installation location for
SmartBridge (\Program Files\Verizon (or name of ISP)...\Smart...). Find
PSAPI.DLL and rename it to something like PSAPIOLD.DLL. Reboot. The
program will find the new PSAPI.DLL in the \Windows\System32 directory
and function normally.

2. For the Logitech error - You don't need to use Logitech Messenger. Go
to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall it. If that's not an option, use
the System Configuration Utility to prevent it from starting with
Windows:

Start>Run>msconfig [enter]

This brings up the System Configuration Utility. Look on the Startup tab
and find the probable culprit. Uncheck the box next to its name, Apply
and OK out. You don't need to restart immediately, but the next time
you do you'll get a dialog saying you've used the Utility. Just tick
the box that says in effect, "don't bother me about this again".

3. The Virtual Truck is from your ISP. You definitely do not need to
have this running. Either uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs or
prevent it from starting with Windows by using msconfig (#2 above).

4. As to how to restore your computer to factory condition, refer to
your computer manual, help files, or go to the computer mftr.'s tech
support site for your specific model computer.
