pop ups

Anyone else having problems with a company using popups
through messenger...trying to sell their service to block
their own spaming...? this apparently is being done
through messenger in windows XP...anyone have ideas how
to block this let me know thanks

You can disable it like this, however you haven't stopped them from
accessing your computer. You should be running a firewall - configured
properly it'll stop the popups and close off the port.

And you should ask your question in a newsgroup about Windows XP. This one
is for Access, the database product.

We are also receiving these popups. Wish someone would
tell me how to get rid of them.
