We have a ton of W2k Machines on our Network -

Any best practices out there to prevent pop ups and Spy ware and the machine
level.

What we need to get is Web Sense since we don't have it - anything we can
do?

Thanks

Well everyone signs in as a Domain user; they cannot change their homepage Group Policy; remove all permissions from:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains

using regedt32.

And disable everything in IE Properties | Internet Security except:

Submit non-encrypted form data

And of course apply patches for Windows Media scripting vulnerabilites.

thanks!!!!
