Is it possible to create a pop up window with frontpage?
I want a new window of text to be displayed when a page
is loaded. Does anyone know how to do this?

Take a look at J-Bots Pop-up Window / Window Close component and use the
onload invocation.

"Spawn" will not do onload functionality intrinsically.
