pop-up window's won't work

i'm running xp professional w/norton internet security -
i can't seem to trouble shoot what is preventing me from
using sites with pop-up forms. Like this newsgroup for
example, I click on the New Post button and nothing
happens. Same thing on any other sites where the
functionality is supposed to pull up a submit form of
some sort - nothing happens. I had to use my coworkers
computer to post this message.

Any help? Very frustrating.

solved my own problem, i think. i disabled script
debugging AND anytime i need to click on a button to pop
up a new window or form, i just have QUADRUPLE click it.
Really strange, but it works. On my other computers I
just have to click "New Post" once on this page and the
submission form pops up. On this computer, I have to
double click it twice, for four clicks....
