pop up report header

im trying to have a pop box appear for a date range and then key in my date
range and have it appear in the report header im using a text box and
have this data in the top but its not working ="Loans approved for" &
[enter the date range] it keeps saying that enter the date range is not a
specified field which it isnt how can i do this

it looks like you cant do a pop up when ever the report is based off of a
crosstab query ? is that correct anyone know

Use a pop-up form with Modal set to Yes. Open the form from the reports open
event.
