Ok this was really odd. I know we all get the pop ups
from time to time claiming we could have a virus, but the
one we got today actually made our cd drive open. Then it
said that our system was infected and they could prove
it...one of the things listed was if your cd drive just
opened it's infected. It gave the option to run a scan
for free..we immediatly closed it out, and then ran our
own anti virus scan. Nothing came up as infected. We also
have the firewall enabled. So I guess what my qustion is,
is how were they able to make our cd drive open? and
could our system be infected and was not detected by our
anti virus program?
