Have you changed drivers or modified any of the input slider volume
levels ? Computers use signals that can generate interference heard on
a computer's speakers. It could also be another component in your
house ( Wireless Phone...) that is responsible. However, transient or
induced signals don't follow a repetitious pattern.
Where does that "pop" sound come from? PC speakers? External speakers? Hard
disk? Popcorn in your microwave oven? If it's the last, your popcorn is
almost ready.
