I have the RTM installed from the eopen site. my outlook configures fine and
on one of my mail accounts it refuses to retrieve my mail. i can log into the
htm interface for the server and see many emails but outlook after a pause of
around 30-45 seconds in the send recieve sequence it shows no error, lists
the item as complete and moves on. i am at my wits end.

NOTE: i added the accont as an IMAP to see if that would function and it
lists and reads the mail fine but no action taken on the mail in outlook is
effective. cant move or delete and it never marks as read.

strange
any ideas?

Have you recreated your mail profile after the upgrade already?
See http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/newprofile.htm

In addition to that make sure you only run add-ins that are Outlook 2007
compatible.

Thanks for the response but that dont fit the problem.
i have 3 accounts on 3 servers, all of them Pop/smtp and this one account is
the only one doing this. i have outlook 2003 installed on my laptop and it
doesent have a problem with the account.

any other ideas? this is handy to know for client issues in the comming
months tho :)

OH YEA!!
Clean install of vista RTM Ultimate
Clean install of Office 2007 Professional Plus

would have helped to have that info up front huh?
