pop and smtp

i am having a very hard time getting my e-mail account set up i have road
runner and my provider gave me pop-server.carolina.rr.com and
smtp-server.carolina.rr.com but they still dont work!!! im trying to do this
through windows mail please help!!!

Ask for their full instructions for setting up up use their email servers.
Some email servers need special instructions such as changing the
port numbers. If they haven't written instructions for Windows Mail
yet, use their instructions for Outlook Express but under Windows
Mail instead. The instructions are probably somewhere on their
web site.
