POP 3 won't work

I can set this account up and it works in outlook express, but I can't get
Outlook to send or recieve my mail. I am connecting through AOL.

Did you import the account from Outlook Express so you know there are no
typing errors? Do you scan outgoing mail with an antivirus scanner? If so,
don't.

I did try to import, same result. I turned off my email virus check and it
still no good

However, some antivirus programs require uninstalling and reinstalling
without the mail scanning feature in order to really turn it off and the
error you describe above is one of the errors caused by scanning email.
