Poor playback when recording to DV camcorder

Movie maker has got me real pissed off.After spending days creating a movie i play it back for recording ,it breaks up , poor sound quality ,movie clips stop playing , and is a very disapointing product in the end.MM keeps stopping during editing,an error message keeps popping up to report it .If someone can please help it would be greatly appreciated.If not I'm buying something else and will not recomend this product to anyone. Thanks Rob M.
