Then you should not have purchased Toshiba. The question then becomes why disable the CDR ?
So the user can't write to disk ? The user could still use a USB ZIP drive, USB Flash
drive, etc. You would now have to disable the USB port and FireWire (if the Toshiba has
it). Unless you disable those port, it would render your solution, of disabling the CDR
drive, a moot point.

| For your info, I didn't waste company money, I looked to purchase with CD
| only, but I purchase only Toshiba and all there laptops in the business
