Policies on XP machines in NT4Serv. Domain

I am adding some new XP workstations in a NT4 (i.e. non
active directory) domain and would like to set up a very
restrictive mandatory user policies for a group of users
but gpedit.msc seems to only let me set up a local policy
for all users of the machine (inc. admin). Has anyone an
tips on how to create a username.man file in this
environment?

gpedit.msc is not used to set up mandatory profiles.
In an NT 4 domain you do this for XP just the same
as for other clients of the domain.
Local group policy by design applies to all accounts
equally. In an NT 4 domain you can use the older
NT 4 era system policies with XP clients.
