I have a Polaroid 3070. It worked fine up until the begining of this week.
Not My computer gives me a code 39. I have searched the web. I have
uninstalled and reinstalled the software and nthing is working. So I tested
another digital camera of mine at it does the same thing. All my CD, DVD, and
other drives are working fine and appear in My Computer. I have Xp Home
Edition SP1

Page 36 says it is a "USB Mass Storage" type of camera, and no
driver needs to be installed. That means the USB driver that comes with
WinXP SP1 is being used, to make the "100MEDIA" folder visible.

You could disconnect the camera, and use the procedure here, to
rebuild the USB stack. When the USB entries are deleted from Device Manager
in Safe Mode, Windows should use the driver files it already has, to
reinstall the devices. After rebooting, then plug in the
camera and see if the built-in driver loads OK. According to the manual,
the camera is a USB Mass Storage class device, so should use the
Microsoft driver of the same name.

There is another recipe here, using "devcon" from Microsoft.
Perhaps you can have a look first, and see if there is a hidden
device for your camera, that needs to be removed.

you should update your pc to at least service pack 2, and it's recommended to
go to level 3.
