Word Pointing Different Citations to Same Source

Hi: I am wondering if any knows how to point two different citations to the same underlying source. For example:

This is one place I site a source (Doe, J, 2017).

Somewhere down the document I would want to reference the same source, but the format of the citation is a little different. Such as: According to Doe (2017). . . .

I have created the source for the first citation already, and I'm not sure how to reference that same source in the second citation.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Justin
