Pointer will not change to ink pen or felt pen in PowerPoint 2003.

When running a PPT2003 presentation on a PC and following the steps in Help
to change mouse pointer from arrow to another option such as a felt or ink
pen, the mouse pointer will not change. We successfully used this feature in
the PPT97 version but not now. We have looked at Tools, Options, Help, and
the Knowledge Base.

Please offer any suggestions - Thanks!!

What happens when you right click the screen in a presentation?

Nothing happens - Try TOOLS>OPTIONS>VIEW TAB and check "show menu on right
mouse click"

Is the pointer option menu greyed out?

If youve never been able to acess the pen etc in PP 2003 maybe "handwriting
options" were not installed at set up. You can add this in if its missing by
doing a new setup and add / remove features.

The handwriting feature not being engaged was it! Thank you so very much for
